VaultGuard ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at vaultguard.sh. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.

We do not use cookies, do not track you across websites, and do not sell your data to third parties.

Data We Collect

Waitlist Form

When you join our waitlist, you voluntarily provide the following information:

  • Email address (required) — used to contact you about early access and product updates
  • Role (optional) — helps us understand our audience
  • Team size (optional) — helps us prioritize features
  • Use case (optional) — helps us understand your needs
  • AI tools used (optional) — helps us prioritize integrations
  • Feedback (optional) — general comments or requests

This data is stored securely and used solely for product development and communication about VaultGuard. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous. No individual visitor can be identified.

Plausible collects:

  • Page URLs visited
  • Referrer source
  • Browser and operating system (from user agent)
  • Country-level location (from anonymized IP)

Plausible is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant and does not require a cookie consent banner.

Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse of our API endpoints, we temporarily process IP addresses for rate limiting purposes. IP addresses are held in-memory only, are not written to disk or any database, and are automatically discarded within 60 seconds.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. We do not set first-party cookies, third-party cookies, or use any form of local or session storage for tracking purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-first web analytics (no personal data collected)

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service that collects personal data.

Data Retention

Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or until 12 months after the product launches, whichever comes first. After that period, data associated with accounts that did not convert to active users will be permanently deleted.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request permanent deletion of your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdrawal — withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), strict Content Security Policy headers, and access controls on all systems that process personal data.

Children's Privacy

VaultGuard is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
